Low-cal Puddings/Shakes/Oatmeals

Glucc Hot Breakfast Cereal-> rice pudding?
1/2 Almond Milk
1/2 Cup Water
1tbsp glucc powder
Sprinkle Cinnamon
1 pat butter

Pumpkin glucc pudding.

1C Unsweetened Almond Milk
1/4C Libby's Pumpkin Puree (not pumpkin pie filling)
1/4tsp pumpkin pie spice
1tsp glucomannan powder
3 pumps DaVincis Vanilla syrup(It could have used more)

Put it all in blender or magic bullet and wizz. Let sit for at least 20 min in fridge.

Pumpkin Shirataki oatmeal

2 TBS pumpkin = 10 calories
bag shirataki "rice" = 0
2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
2 TBS walden farms marshmallow dip = 0
cinnamon

Glucomannan Pudding

The basic recipe seems to be:

1 cup liquid (any combination of water, milk, coffee, DaVinci syrups, etc)
1 tsp glucomannan powder (or more for thicker pudding)
+ flavorings such as drink mixes, cocoa powder, spices, pumpkin puree, etc
Protein powder can be added, too.

Just whisk or blend together--I don't think you have to heat it for it to thicken!
(I don't have glucomannan at the moment; just trying to put together a few recipes so they're easier to find)

Peanut butter caramel "oatmeal"

2 Tbs walden farms caramel dip
1 TBS PB2
one drained bag of shiritake rice
1 TBS fat free sour cream (or fat free cream cheese)

Stir, refrigerate, eat--I nuke and make hot--more warm and filling that way

#2
Cinnamon marshmallow "oatmeal"

2 Tbs WF marshmallow dip with 1tsp cinnamon stirred in
2 Tbs ff sour cream
1 bag drained and rinsed shiritaki rice

stir, refrigerate and eat--I nuke and make hot--more warm and filling that way

Fruity Creamy Gluco Stuff
Makes 3 big servings @ 27 calories; 5.37g carbs; 2.3g fiber; 2g protein per 1+ cup serving

2 packet s/f Pink Lemonade* drink mix (the water bottle size packets)
24 oz water
2 drop Ez-sweetz (or equal to 2tsp sweetener)
6 oz Fat Free Plain Yogurt (I used Greek Gods f/f greek yogurt @ 60cals for 6oz)
1 heaping tsp Glucomannan Powder

Mix cold water and drink mix packets, then add the glucomannan powder and mix very well. Refrigerate 30 minutes until it starts to gel up.
Mix the yogurt and the sweetener, then fold into the fruity gluc gel.
Refrigerate again for 30 minutes before eating.

*I made this with ruby red grapefruit drink mix, orange sunrise and both were very good, too.
**I found that it tastes different if you just mix the yogurt into the start. It does something weird to the flavor that I did not care for.

Maple Vanilla Cream Gluc

1 cup almond milk (35 cals)
1/2 cup water
4T walden farms pancake syrup
1/2tsp each maple and vanilla extract
1-2 drops sweetener (or packets)
1tsp glucomannan powder

Mix well, let set.

Shake

Ingredients:
1 cup (8 oz) Calorie Countdown Fat Free Milk (35 cals) or Unsweetened Almond Milk (40 cals)

3/4 tsp Gluc powder

Nice splash of SF syrup of choice. I used Strawberry, but have also used vanilla, chocolate, peanut butter and caramel.

2 to 3 TBS sweetener.

3 to 4 ice cubes

Directions:
Put on ingredients in a blender or magic bullet and blend well until it thickens up like a milk shake. Don't over blend or you will get pudding (which is a good thing, too http://www.lowcarbfriends.com/bbs/images/smilies/wink_2011.gif) The ingredients will expand, giving you about 12 to 14 oz of "shake" when you are done.

Drink immediately! http://www.lowcarbfriends.com/bbs/images/smilies/yummy_2011.gif

35 to 40 calories depending on what milk product you use!

Miracle Rice Pudding (for Sistertzu).

Basic Recipe:

2 packages miracle rice, rinsed & drained
4 cups Silk Unsweetened Almond Milk
2tbsp glucomannan powder
SF Vanilla DaVincis to taste

Get 4 bowls/containers, because this makes 4 very large servings. Put 1/2 of each bag of miracle rice in each bowl, plus 1 cup almond milk and DaVincis (I would start with 2tbsp per bowl). Get a whisk or fork and start stirring the mixture and slowly add in 1/2 tbsp of the glucc powder, don't stop stirring. After you have stirred in 1/2 tbsp of powder, refrigerate and it will set up more. Do this for each bowl.

 Deep chocolate pudding:
2/3 cup unsweetened almond milk= 30
1 Tbs cocoa powder= 15
1/4 cup room temp coffee (vanilla crème left over from this morning)= 0
3 squirts SF Davinci Amaretto= 0
3 drops ez-sweetz= 0
3 grinds pink Himalayan salt= 0
1/2 tsp gluc powder= 2.5

Total calories 47.5 for the whole bowl.

Put it all in my ninja and whirled it around for a minute.
Poured it into a bowl and put in the fridge to set.
